Movie Script: Albert Nobbs



1>油漆工修伯發現變裝男侍亞柏其實是女性
Painter Hubert found that Waiter Albert was actually a woman.



修伯: 所以...你為什麼要穿得像個男人?
Hubert: So...why are you dressed like a fellow?

亞柏(直接忽略修伯的問題): 如果你沒有把那跳蚤帶進來, 原本在我死之前都不會有人懷疑我的性別!
Albert: No one would have suspected me until the day of my death, if it hadn't been for the flea you brought in!



2>亞柏到修伯家拜訪, 第一次體驗到一個家庭裡面愉快的氣氛
Albert visited Huber's place and for the first time he felt the warmth that usually comes from a family.

修伯(一邊模仿飯店主人的語氣): 噢, 太迷人了, 佩吉先生, 太迷人了!
Hubert: Oh, very salubrious, Mr. Page, very salubrious!

凱特琳(很有反應地大笑著): "迷人"? 她以為她是誰, 英國女王嗎? 噢天哪! 我真想好好看她幾眼, 那隻老鱈魚!
Cathleen: "Salubrious"! Who does she think she is, the Queen of England? Oh, I'd love to get a squint at her, the old hake!

凱特琳(發現沉默不語的亞柏並沒有加入兩人愉快的談話): 諾伯先生, 在飯店裡工作一定很有趣吧? 總是不停在發生新的事情, 一直有新的笑料。
Cathleen: It must be nice, Mr. Nobbs, working in a hotel. Always something happening, something to give you a laugh.

亞柏(沉默一陣子後回應): 昨天西恩從煤炭口的梯子摔下來了。
Albert: Yesterday Sean Casey fell down the coal-hole steps.

"Cha Cha for Twins"

A really great Taiwanese movie shoot in Kaohsiung and Southern Taiwan.
The leading actress is a dance major master and is playing both the twin sisters in this movie.
I think the lines in this movie vividly illustrates what Taiwanese teenagers think and say in a very brilliant way, and it's worth watching even for just wanting to know more about Taiwan or teenagers.

The portraits of love in this movie, I like it a lot, because it's not a fairy tale (or two fairy tales). The love story (or relationship story) is very true in this movie. I was drawn naturally into this movie without the thought that I was watching a movie. This is what makes it so successful.

"Hanna" - The movie

I rarely see "violent" movies because I'm afraid of the sight of blood.
However the movie "Hanna" simply brings out the best of me.
I did not expect to see a good movie but I did see a good movie. Liked a lot.

Adapt or die. Not 100% true but it's always good if you can adapt more or less to the changing world.
