美國CNN報導川普與蔡英文通話後的效應

美國CNN報導，自1979年以來，美國所抱持的政治立場就是「只有一個中國，而台灣是中國的一部份」，因此美國不會與台灣有任何直接的外交關係。此次，美國總統川普接獲台灣總統蔡英文的電話，除了恭賀當選以外，另外還聊到了政治面的議題。

可以說這通電話中川普開啟了與台灣進行直接的對話，而這個對話是有外交意涵的，似乎象徵著自1979年以來一個中國的立場要在2017年開始產生動搖與改變。這通電話，正是1979年台美關係破裂以來，第一次美國總統當選人與台灣總統所做的對談。

川普與蔡英文談到了台灣與美國間密切的經濟、政治、國防關係。川普同時也恭喜蔡英文在今年年初當選為台灣總統。

"During the discussion, they noted the close economic, political, and security ties (existing) between Taiwan and the United States. President-elect Trump also congratulated President Tsai on becoming President of Taiwan earlier this year."

我們依然堅定的維持一中政策，並無改變。
