Me as a Learning Machine

I consider myself a learning machine because I learn things effectively, and also I do it reflectively without being told to. Very similar to the behavior of a machine.

This is great in terms of knowledge accumulation. This isn't so great when I'm just learning knowledge but not interaction skills. I may complete tasks quickly on my own but not able to do so with other people. I get upset when I have to work with non-learning machines - they either learn slowly, or they only learn when they are told to do so. On the contrary, I set myself in a learning mode automatically whenever the situation permits.

I'd like to keep being a learning machine because A, I enjoy doing so, and B, It would potentially help my career opportunities. However I'd like to catch up with some skills that a real machine does not possess. Such as how you work with others, and how you respect people. How you can be a team player and see the full picture. How you are able to finish up a bigger task as a team.

I'm going to try this and find the humor at work. I'm also going to try this to STOP making anyone look bad, instead I'm going to take it as a challenge to make people look as good / smart as possible. I want to try this and stop correcting people or argue with them.

Last, when I have time, I need to comb through this and polish my social skills.
